We're born pure, innocent, and untainted; but as we grow older the world grips us and pulls that purity, that innocence, away from us, and we're left with open eyes to see the world for what it really is. It is this loss of innocence that makes it so difficult for us to lead good, clean lives; and sometimes even harder to maintain a belief in anything but what our eyes can see. This loss of innocence combined with a loss of a spiritual connection we could so easily believe in while young, is the tragic event that Innocent Minds dares to tell in such a way that you can apply this thought process to your own experience, and allow yourself to become immersed in the film to see it from your own eyes.
